The Alaska Capitol reopened to the public on June 16, 2021.
While guided tours have not yet resumed (check back for updates), self-guided tours are now possible.

Plan a Visit
The Alaska State Capitol building is a functional seat of government, where laws are passed and public policy is set for the 737,438 residents of Alaska. Visitors are welcome to explore the Capitol at their leisure, between 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
More information on guided tours will be available at a later date.
Self-guided tours are available year round. Simply collect a brochure in the Capitol lobby and explore at your own pace.
